How to Manage the Messageware ISAPI Filter to Temporarily Disable OWA Server Suite Products

This article applies to the following products:

  • Messageware OWA Server Suite 2019
  • Messageware OWA Server Suite 2016
  • Messageware OWA Server Suite 2013

SUMMARY

The Messageware Server Suite products (AttachView, TimeGuard, NavGuard, PlusPack) can be temporarily disabled by removing the Messageware ISAPI filter located in IIS of the Exchange servers where the Messageware product is installed.

To restore the Server Suite product functionality again, the Messageware ISAPI filter can be re-added to IIS on all Exchange servers where the product is installed

Performing an IIS reset is recommended to clear & re-initialize the application pools on IIS after removal and addition of the ISAPI filter
