SUMMARY
The Messageware Server Suite products (AttachView, TimeGuard, NavGuard, PlusPack) can be temporarily disabled by removing the Messageware ISAPI filter located in IIS of the Exchange servers where the Messageware product is installed.
To restore the Server Suite product functionality again, the Messageware ISAPI filter can be re-added to IIS on all Exchange servers where the product is installed
Performing an IIS reset is recommended to clear & re-initialize the application pools on IIS after removal and addition of the ISAPI filter
RESOLUTION
Removing the Messageware ISAPI filter.
Open IIS Manger
- Navigate to <Servename>\Site\Default Web Site
- In the IIS section (mid pane), select ISAPI Filters
- Remove the Messageware entry
- Navigate to <Servername>\Sites\Exchange Back End
- In the IIS section (mid pane), select ISAPI Filters
- Remove the Messageware entry

Open IIS Manger
- Navigate to <Servename>\Site\Default Web Site
- In the IIS section (mid pane), select ISAPI FIlters
- Select Add and create a new entry as shown in screen capture
- Navigate to <Servename>\Site\Exchange Back End
- In the IIS section (mid pane), select ISAPI FIlters
- Select Add and create a new entry as shown in screen capture
