SUMMARY
This article outlines the different types of configurations needed to bypass/customize EPG protection for a single user
STEPS
In EPG Admin > Rules > Click +New
Give the new Rule a name and click Add
Once the rule has been added in the list > Check the box so that the rule is enabled
Move the new rule to the top. The rules are applied from top to bottom
Under rules > add the IP address of the user that needs EPG bypassed/modified
Click insert once the IP is added
After completing the steps above you can apply one of the following rules that suits best your scenario
- Disable CAPTCHA completely for a user
- Set dynamic CAPTCHA for the user
- Disable EPG protection all together
1 - Disable CAPTCHA completely for the user
Navigate to options under rules > select Never Show CAPTCHA
2 - Set dynamic captcha for the user
Navigate to options under rules > select Show dynamic CAPTCHA > Show CAPTCHA after some logon failures
Set the number of logon failures according to your scenario
3 - Bypass complete EPG Protection for user
Under the same rule> navigate to Bypass and select “Bypass EPG protection”
When completed, click save
