SYMPTOM
HTML email links (MAILTO) should open the Messageware ActiveSend compose window with data in the body. However, the new message opens but the body is empty.
Example: mailto:recipient@contoso.com?body=any%20data
CAUSE
This can occur when there are issues with the Microsoft Exchange certificate, for example: the computer cannot check the certificate's revocation information.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, either:
- Correct the certificate, or
- Open Internet Explorer Advanced settings and uncheck "Check for publisher's certificate revocation".
