Windows Admin Center Using Ports 80/443 Prevents EPG Web Management Connectivity

SYMPTOM

When Microsoft Admin Center (Windows Admin Center) and EPG Web Management are installed on the same server, access to the EPG Web Management interface fails. Microsoft Admin Center binds to ports 80 and/or 443, causing a port conflict and preventing EPG Web Management from loading.


SOLUTION

During the installation of Windows Admin Center, configure it to listen on a different port and avoid using ports 80 or 443. This prevents port conflicts and allows EPG Web Management to function correctly.
 

By default, the application is configured to bind to port 443 during installation:

 

Change the port to an unused value. In the example shown below, port 1026 is used:
