Messageware ActiveSend 2013 & 2016
When a user enters the OWA URL in the Messageware ActiveSend Configuration console to connect to an Office 365 account and clicks Check Settings button, it returns with an EWS Test Failed message.
The behavior can occur from either the autodiscover not configured correctly or the incorrect EWS URL is being used in the Advanced section.
To correct the behavior, the EWS URL will need to be entered manually in the Advanced section from the ActiveSend Configuration console.
- Open the Messageware ActiveSend Configuration console
- Edit the User account
- Click on Office 365 button and select the highlighted options
- Click on Advanced button and change the EWS URL to https://outlook.office365.com/ews/
- Click Check Settings and you should see a successful confirmation
