The shared calendar is opening up in Week View mode instead of Work Week View

SYMPTOM

 

If the primary calendar is configured for Work Week View and a shared calendar is opened; the shared calendar opens in Week View mode instead of Work Week View.

 

RESOLUTION

 

To correct this behavior, apply the updated files as per the steps indicated below.

 

1.     On the CAS, download and extract the following file to a temporary location http://w3.messageware.com/download/support/kb/647_CalendarShare_1_9_WorkWeekView_PostFix.zip

2.     Navigate to \Program Files\Messageware\CalendarShare\Delta\

a.     Rename the existing csjs.ini to csjs.old

b.    Paste the updated csjs.ini

c.     Verify the NTFS permissions match

3.     Navigate to  \Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\ClientAccess\Owa\MWScripts\CalendarShare\1.9\

a.     Rename the existing mw_cscalview.js to mw_cscalview.old

b.    Paste the updated mw_cscalview.js

c.     Verify the NTFS permissions match

4.     Open up the CalendarShare Management Console (Start\All Programs\Messageware CalendarShare\)

a.     Click the Refresh tab

b.    Click the Refresh button

c.     Click on Apply and Ok

5.     Restart the World Wide Web Publishing Service for changes to take immediate effect

6.     Clear the client side browser cache
