The AttachView Open and Save options are disabled in OWA

SYMPTOM

 

When accessing attachments in OWA, the AttachView Open and Save options are disabled; although these options are enabled in the AttachView Management Console

CAUSE


This behavior occurs when delegation is enabled in environments where the forest functional level is Windows 2000 based

 

RESOLUTION

 

To correct this behavior, disable the "Trust computer for delegation" option on the Client Access Server/s where Messageware AttachView is installed by following the steps below.

 

1.      Open Active Directory Users and Computers

2.      Locate and right-click the Client Access Server, and select Properties

3.      Under the delegation tab, uncheck the "Trust computer for delegation"

4.      Click Apply and OK

5.      Restart the IIS services to ensure that this change takes effect

a.      Open up the command prompt

b.      Type the following command: iisreset /noforce
