How to configure Messageware products to interoperate with RSA 2007 2FA and SSO

This article applies to the following products:
     Messageware OWA Suite 2009

     Messageware OWA Suite 2007

 

SUMMARY

 

This article describes how to configure Messageware products to interoperate with RSA Two Factor Authentication or RSA Single Sign-On solution.

 

RESOLUTION

 

To configure Messageware products for interoperation with RSA2FA or SSO, the RSA Application Pool must be added to the Application pool subscription for each Messageware product.  Follow the steps below for implementing this configuration. 

 

Note: Apply the steps below according to which Messageware products are installed

 

 

1.     Navigate to \Program Files\Messageware\Common Files\Settings

2.     Make a backup of the CoreSettings.xml file

3.     Edit the CoreSettings.xml file using an editor such as notepad

4.     Configure interoperation for AttachView

a.     Scroll down to the section labeled <SERVICEWORKER ID="3" DESCR="AttachView"> which is located under <SERVICEWORKERS>

b.     Change the following value from
<ITEMID="6" DESCR="APP pool subscribtion" VALUE="Attachview;MSExchangeOWAAppPool;" />
to
<
ITEMID="6" DESCR="APP pool subscribtion" VALUE="Attachview;MSExchangeOWAAppPool;RSA SecurID Pool;" />

5.     Configure interoperation for NavGuard

a.     Scroll down to the section labeled <SERVICEWORKER ID="4" DESCR="NavGuard"> which is located under <SERVICEWORKERS>

b.     Change the following value from

to

6.     Configure interoperation for TimeGuard

a.     Scroll down to the section labeled <SERVICEWORKER ID="5" DESCR="TimeGuard"> which is located under <SERVICEWORKERS>

b.     Change the following value from

7.     Configure interoperation for CalendarShare

a.     Scroll down to the section labeled <SERVICEWORKER ID="6" DESCR="CalendarShare"> which is located under <SERVICEWORKERS>

b.     Change the following value from

8.     Configure interoperation for OWA Print

a.     Scroll down to the section labeled <SERVICEWORKER ID="8" DESCR="OWA Print"> which is located under <SERVICEWORKERS>

b.     Change the following value from

9.     Configure interoperation for the Plus Pack

a.     Scroll down to the section labeled <SERVICEWORKER ID="8" DESCR="Plus Pack"> which is located under <SERVICEWORKERS>

b.     Change the following value from

10.  Save the changes to the file

11.  Restart the World Wide Web Publishing Services for changes to take effect
