The Plus Pack address book does not display any recipients

This article applies to the following products:
     Messageware Plus Pack v2.3 2007

SYMPTOM

The Plus Pack address book does not display any recipients in OWA when Windows Integrated Authentication is configured.

This behavior pertains to environments where there are multiple Active Directory sites and more than one Global Catalog server is present in each site.

CAUSE

The above behavior occurs due to the presence of multiple Global Catalog servers in the site where Exchange is not installed.  When the address book tries to do an LDAP query the request fails because the query is attempting to access a Global Catalog server outside the Exchange site.

This behavior is unrelated to constrained delegation as constrained delegation cannot be configured across multiple domains.
