Plus Pack and CalendarShare features do not display correctly for Arabic users

This article applies to the following products:
     Messageware Plus Pack 2007 v2.1a

     Messageware CalendarShare 2007 v1.8a

 

SYMPTOM

 

When users set their OWA language to Arabic, the Plus Pack and CalendarShare features continue to be displayed in English

 

CAUSE


This behavior occurs since the Plus Pack and CalendarShare do not contain Arabic translations


RESOLUTION        


To correct this behavior, apply the updated Plus Pack and CalendarShare Resource library files which contain the Arabic language translations

 

How to apply the Plus Pack Resource DLL file

1.       Download and extract the updated Plus Pack Resource library file from the link below

http://w3.messageware.com/download/support/kb/506_PP21a_ArabicLanguageSupport.zip

2.       On CAS, navigate to \Program Files\Messageware\Plus Pack\Resource

3.       Rename file PPRes.dll to PPRes.old

4.       Import the updated Plus Pack DLL file

5.       Restart the World Wide Web services for changes to take effect immediately  

How to apply CalendarShare Resource DLL file

1.     Download and extract the updated CalendarShare Resource library file from the link below

http://w3.messageware.com/download/support/kb/506_CS18a_ArabicLanguageSupport.zip

2.     On CAS, navigate to \Program Files\Messageware\CalendarShare\Resource

3.     Rename file MW_CalendarRes64.dll to MW_CalendarRes64.old

4.     Import the updated CalendarShare DLL file

5.     Restart the World Wide Web services for changes to take effect immediately
