Interoperability configuration with Red Gate Software archiving solution and the Messageware Plus Pack

This article applies to the following products:
     Messageware Plus Pack v2.1a 2007

SUMMARY

There is an interoperability issue with Red Gate Software archiving solution and the Messageware Plus Pack.  The Red Gate Software works by rewriting the OWA generated page for archived messages to rewrite the attachment links to point to the RedGateFetch.aspx page.  Parameters are passed through this page to identify attachments.  The following URL is an example of how the page is called.

https://<server_name>/owa/RedGateFetch.aspx?storeGuid=113da247-eba0-4a4f-a1b4-fde93783548c&fileGuid=f63a26c4-34ad-45b2-bdb5-b7a80af42c8c&mailbox=user5@2k3e2k7.local&mailboxGuid=J_u_3J5GJ0a5OSJO51CRUA&filename=weather!.JPG&UAAS=http%3a%2f%2fmailarchive.2k3E

CAUSE

When Plus Pack is installed, the response stream from the page is shorted to 1.7K and it gets a number of characters added to the start, before the data.

CONFIGURATION
