SYMPTOM

When accepting a meeting request from the preview pane on the Calendar Page of a shared mailbox account, the following script error occurs:

"Outlook Web Access has encountered a web browsing error"

CAUSE

When a meeting request is accepted in a shared mailbox, the item id of that meeting request is changed. If the meeting request has been opened from the OWA Today page, the OWA Today page needs to be refreshed in order to keep the item ids stored on the page up to date.

The script error occurs because after accepting the meeting invitation the script is trying to update the OWA Today page, but it is unable to do so since the user is on the Calendar view page.

RESOLUTION

The steps below indicate on how to change the behavior where the summary message will be saved in the user’s Sent Items folder.

1.     On the CAS, download and extract the following file to a temporary location http://w3.messageware.com/download/support/kb/459_PP_2_2_PostFix.zip

2.     Navigate to \Program Files\Messageware\Plus Pack\Delta\

a.     Rename the existing ppjs.ini to ppjs.old

b.    Paste the updated ppjs.ini

c.     Verify the NTFS permissions match

3.     Open up the Plus Pack Management Console (Star\All Programs\Messageware Plus Pack\)

a.     Navigate to Global Settings > Refresh

b.    Click the Refresh button

4.     Clear the client side browser cache

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This will be corrected in a future release of the Plus Pack.
