Script error when accepting a meeting request on a shared calendar

SYMPTOM

 

When accepting a meeting request on a shared calendar, the following script error may occur:

 

Message: 'opener' is null or not an object

RESOLUTION

 

A hotfix is available to correct the script error.  The steps below outline how to apply the hotfix on the CAS:

 

1.     On the Exchange server, download and extract the following file ppjs.ini file to a temporary location
http://m3.messageware.com/download/support/PP21a_scripterror_fix.zip

2.     Navigate to \Program Files\Messageware\Plus Pack\Delta\

a.     Rename the existing ppjs.ini to ppjs.old

b.     Paste the updated ppjs.ini

c.     Verify the NTFS permissions match

3.     Open the Plus Pack  Management Console (Start\All Programs\Messageware Plus  Pack\Plus Pack Management Console)

4.     Navigate to the Refresh tab and click the Refresh button

5.     Click Apply and OK

6.     Restart the World Wide Web Publishing Services for changes to take effect

7.      Users will now be able to successfully accept a meeting request on another user’s shared calendar
