SYMPTOM

The following error occurs when opening the shared calendar:

“The Calendar you have requested was not located or you may not have sufficient Delegate permissions. (2)”

RESOLUTION

To ensure if a delegate user can open a shared calendar successfully, the Administrator must enable the "Write Personal Information" and "Read Personal Information" permission to the SELF account for the user object in Active Directory.

Note: After applying the changes below Active Directory replication needs to be completed before the changes are tested.

1.     On the CAS, open up Active Directory Users and Computers (Start\Run\dsa.msc)

2.     Click Advanced Features if it is not already selected on the View menu

3.     Expand the domain, and locate the user’s Organizational Unit (OU) object

4.     In the right pane, right-click the user who is experiencing the opening shared calendar issue, and select Properties

5.     Select the Security tab, locate the SELF account, and place a check mark beside the Write Personal Information and Read Personal Information

6.     Click on Apply and OK

7.     Exit Active Directory Users and Computers

8.     Wait till Active Directory fully replicates and clear the client side browser cache
