When clicking on the Manage Delegates link, users receive a "Processing Error. Please Repeat" error

     Messageware CalendarShare 2007 v1.6 and below

 

SYMPTOM

When clicking on the Manage Delegates link, users may receive the following error:

Processing Error. Please Repeat

This issue does not occur if the user enters the User logon name (pre-Windows 2000) as the username.

  CAUSE

This behavior occurs when the values for the User logon name and the User logon name (pre-Windows 2000) do not match in Active Directory.

RESOLUTION

 

To correct this behavior, follow one of the resolutions below

Resolution 1: Ensure that the values for the User logon name and the User logon name (pre-Windows 2000) match

1.      Open Using Active Directory Users and Computers

2.      Locate the affected user mailbox, right-click the user account and click Properties

3.      Navigate to the Accounts tab

4.      Modify the User logon name or the User logon name (pre-Windows 2000) so that they match one another

5.      Click Apply and OK


Resolution 2:
Upgrade to the latest version of CalendarShare.
