Users are unable to rename or change the order of shared calendars

     Messageware CalendarShare 2003 v3.0

 

SYMPTOM


When renaming shared calendars or changing the order in which the shared calendars appear, the changes do not take effect in the CalendarShare interface.

 

 

RESOLUTION

 

To correct this issue, please follow the steps below.

 

1.      Download and extract the hotfix from the link below, to a temporary location

2.      On the Exchange server, navigate to \Program Files\Exchsrvr\exchweb\controls

3.      Rename mw_CalendarPlus.js to mw_CalendarPlus.old

4.      Paste the updated mw_CalendarPlus.js

5.      Rename mw_CalPlusOptions.js to mw_CalPlusOptions.old

6.      Paste the updated mw_CalPlusOptions.js

7.      Rename mw_CalPlusUtil.js to mw_CalPlusUtil.old

8 .      Paste the updated mw_CalPlusUtil.js

9 .      On client workstations, clear the local browser cache (Tools\Internet Options\Delete Files)
