Users receive a ”Processing Error. Please Repeat. 500” message when clicking on the Manage Delegates link

SYMPTOM

 

When clicking on the Manage Delegates link, users receive the following error:

 

Processing Error. Please Repeat. 500

 

This issue occurs when logging into OWA using the User Principle Name (UPN).

 

RESOLUTION

 

To correct this behavior apply the steps below on the Exchange server:

 

1.      Click on the following link to download the fix on the Exchange server http://w3.messageware.com/download/support/kb/268_Manage_Delegates_Fix.zip

2.      Extract the contents to a temporary location (CalendarShare.dll, CalendarShareDelegation.dll and MW_CalendarRes.dll)

3.      Navigate to \Program Files\Messageware Incorporated\CalendarShare for Outlook Web Access\VDIR\bin

a.      Rename the CalendarShareDelegation.dll to CalendarShareDelegation.old

b.     Paste the new CalendarShareDelegation.dll to this location

c.      Rename the CalendarShare.dll to CalendarShare.old

d.     Paste the new CalendarShare.dll to this location

4.      Navigate to \Program Files\Messageware Incorporated\CalendarShare for Outlook Web Access\Resource

a.      Rename MW_CalendarRes.dll to MW_CalendarRes.old

b.     Paste the new MW_CalendarRes.dll to this location

5.      Restart the World Wide Web Publishing Service for changes to take effect.
