Users are unable to login to OWA over a cross-site connection (CAS-to-CAS Proxy)

After installing AttachView, user’s are unable to access OWA and receive the following message in the browser:


Outlook Web Access is not currently available for the user’s mailbox that you are trying to access. If the problem continues, contact technical support for your organization and tell then the following: Outlook Web Access could not establish a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connect to the Microsoft Exchange Client Access server that should be used to access the mailbox.





To correct this issue, proceed on implementing the steps below

1.      On the CAS, Launch an IE session and download the update using the following link

2.      Extract the contents to a temporary location

3.      Navigate to the Common Files folder in the path where Messageware products are installed (by default \Program Files\Messageware\Common Files)

4.      Rename the existing CoreServices.dll to CoreServices.old

Note: Do not overwrite the existing file

5.      Paste the updated CoreServices.dll into this path

              Note: Verify that the NTFS permissions on the updated file match with the previous file

6.      Restart the World Wide Web publishing service for the change to take effect

Note: The above file is not required if the version of the CoreServices.dll file is or greater
