The save confirmation security warning message does not appear when saving files using AttachView

     Messageware AttachView 2003

     Messageware AttachView 2007





When using the AttachView save option in Outlook Web Access, users do not receive the save confirmation security warning.





To correct this issue apply the steps below on the client machine:


1.     Launch Internet Explorer and click on Tools > Internet Options

2.     Select the Privacy tab

3.     Under Pop-up blocker, uncheck the following option Turn-on-Pop-up blocker

4.     Apply the changes and restart Internet Explorer prior to logging into Outlook Web Access


Note:  Additional pop-up blockers should be disabled on clients that may have third party browser add-ins installed to manage pop-ups. Alternatively, the OWA server can be added to the list of Allowed sites under Pop-up blocker settings.




The feature where users receive the AttachView save confirmation security warning is disabled by default when AttachView is first installed on an Exchange server. To enable this feature, please refer to the AttachView Installation and Administration Guide.
