Users receive a "73 -0x0" error when viewing attachments

SUMMARY

When viewing attachments using AttachView in OWA, users receive the following error message:

for Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access


AttachView was unable to access the Active Directory resource. This may be because the Active Directory object does not exist or the object has become corrupted, or because you do not have sufficient access rights for the object. (73 - 0x0)

CAUSE

This issue occurs when logging into OWA using a forward slash rather than a backslash when entering user credentials in the format domain\username

RESOLUTION

 

A correction will become available in a future release of AttachView to better such handle requests where the user enters credentials in the format domain/username
