SYMPTOMS

When attempting to view a shared calendar, users receive the following error:

“Unable to retrieve requested resource (450)”

CAUSE

This issue occurs when a delegate user attempts to open the shared calendar of a user, whose mailbox is configured in a language other than English

RESOLUTION

To correct this language interoperability issue, please proceed with the steps below. Ensure that all mailbox languages which are required are added to the CalendarShare Languages tab in the CalendarShare Administrative Console.

1.          On the Exchange server, open the CalendarShare Administrative Console (Start\All Programs\Messageware Incorporated\CalendarShare for Outlook Web Access)

2.          Select the Languages tab

3.          Press the Add button

4.          Select the mailbox language(s) and click OK

5.          Press Apply and OK to save the changes

6.          Restart the World Wide Web Publishing Service

Note : When no languages are selected in the Administrative console, CalendarShare uses the default language, which is English. When configuring additional mailbox languages, the default list is replaced with the selected entries and English is no longer a default option; please include English if there are English mailboxes in the environment
