SUMMARY

Messageware CalendarShare enables Administrators to configure a setting that enables Delegates to receive a summary message informing them of the permissions that they have been granted by the calendar owner.

This article provides information about the expected behavior of the Send a Summary Message.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

By default, the “Always send a summary message to delegates” option in the Delegates tab is not enabled. It is left to the digression of the calendar owner if they want to send a message to the delegate regarding the permission they have been assigned.

Enabling the “Always send a summary message to delegates” option in the Delegates tab ensures that newly assigned delegates receive a summary email of their permissions. Existing delegates who have their permissions modified will also receive the summary email.

MORE INFORMATION

1.     The summary email can be customized by editing the content of the text box

2.     There are no messages generated when a delegate is removed
