SYMPTOM

 

Users frequently receive a “Server Too Busy” message when viewing attachments.

 

RESOLUTION

 

To correct this issue proceed with the action items below.

1.       Upgrade to AttachView version 8.5

2.       Apply the “Server Too Busy” hotfix for AttachView v8.5

a)       Download and extract the updated files from the link below

      http://w3.messageware.com/download/support/kb/121_AV85_servertoobusy_hotfix.zip

b)       Navigate to \Program Files\Messageware Incorporated\AttachView for Outlook

      Web Access\Vdir\Bin

c)       Rename AttachView.dll to AttachView.old

d)       Copy in the new AttachView.dll file

e)       Rename AttachViewIsapi.dll to AttachViewIsapi.old

f)         Copy in the new AttachViewIsapi.dll file

g)       Restart the World Wide Web Publishing service

h)       Verify that the issue has been resolved
