How to enable and edit the Plus Pack Corporate Dictionary

SUMMARY  

 

In organizations where a large number of acronyms or custom words are used, administrators can add words to the Plus Pack corporate dictionary, whereby these words will not be highlighted as misspelled words by the Plus Pack spell check.

 

This article provides the steps to edit and enable the Plus Pack corporate dictionary.

 

CONFIGURATION STEPS

 

Apply the below steps to enable and edit the Plus Pack corporate dictionary.

 

A)    Enable the Plus Pack corporate dictionary

1.     Open the Plus Pack Administrative Console, Click on Start\All Programs\Messageware Incorporated\Messageware Plus Pack for Outlook Web Access\Plus Pack Administrative Console

2.     Select the Dictionaries tab

3.     Select Enable Corporate Dictionary check box
 

B)    Edit the Plus Pack corporate dictionary

1.     Click on the Edit Corporate Dictionary button (The corporate.tlx file will open in Notepad)

2.     Add words into the corporate.tlx file (one word per line)

3.     Verify there is only one carriage return after the last word

4.     Save the close the corporate.tlx file

5.     Click on Apply and OK

6.     Restart the IIS Admin Service for the changes to take place immediately
