RSA prompts for credentials when viewing password protected ZIP files

SYMPTOM

 

When viewing a password protected ZIP file, RSA prompts for the user’s ID and Passcode

 

 

RESOLUTION

This issue is unrelated to Messageware products.

To avoid users from receiving additional login prompts, contact RSA SecureID Help Desk to obtain the latest version of the RSA Authentication Agent for Web/IIS 5.3 Build 365. The latest build handles the AttachView post requests that were previously blocked.

After the fix is applied on the Agent Host and the World Wide Web Publishing Service has been restarted, users should no longer receive the RSA prompt.
